UIB Asia has appointed Serene Chiam as Director – Broking Support in its Treaty & Retro Division, effective 29 October, the company announced on LinkedIn on 30 October.
Chiam brings over two decades of (re)insurance industry experience, with deep expertise spanning treaty placements, facultative broking, regulatory compliance, process optimisation, and project leadership across regional and global markets, UIB said. She has previously held senior roles at firms including MSIG, Aon and Allianz.
Her appointment follows recent leadership moves at UIB Asia, including expanded responsibilities for CEO Francis Savari and the addition of Le Tram Nguyen as Executive Director for Treaty and Retro.
