Victor Australia has appointed Danial Mullin as head of casualty, the managing general agent announced on LinkedIn on Wednesday.
Based in Melbourne, Mullin joins the company after spending three years at Guild Insurance, where he most recently served as a client partnership executive. Earlier in his career, Mullin held roles for companies such as Suncorp Group, BCS Broking Insurance and Surety, Allianz Australia, OAMPS Insurance Brokers, Atradius and IAG.
He has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. According to Victor, Mullin “brings a broad range of experience in casualty underwriting, portfolio management and market engagement to help strengthen our casualty program as we continue to grow.”
The announcement follows a leadership appointment at Victor earlier this year. In May, the company named Carly Martin as its head of underwriting operations.
Victor Australia offers specialist insurance programmes across casualty, agriculture, golf, accident and health, and other commercial lines. The Marsh-owned business previously operated as Thistle Underwriting Services and later Key Underwriting before adopting the Victor brand in 2020.
