Zurich Insurance on Tuesday announced that Christy Yeo has been named Head of Property, Singapore, and Wendy Ong as Head of Financial Lines, Singapore, for its commercial insurance business, effective immediately.
Both will report to Alexandra Cowley, Zurich’s Chief Underwriting Officer for Singapore.
Yeo brings over 20 years of industry experience and has been with Zurich for more than 12 years. Prior to this appointment, she served as Head of Upstream Energy, Singapore. She will continue to oversee that portfolio in addition to her expanded property responsibilities.
Ong has more than 10 years of experience in financial lines and joined Zurich in 2018. Most recently, she has managed Zurich’s Directors & Officers and Financial Institutions product lines. She previously led the wholesale facultative reinsurance underwriting strategy and business development for Financial Lines.
