Chubb on Monday announced the appointment of three new division heads in its Singapore business, effective 1 March 2026: Lucas Teng for consumer, Jerry Ng for distribution, and Eric Kwan for property and casualty.
Teng has been with Chubb since 2023 and was most recently regional partnership manager, consumer lines, for Asia-Pacific. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience, with prior stints at AIA, AIG, QBE, and Liberty Mutual.
Ng joined Chubb in 2019, most recently serving as division head of consumer and bancassurance. He has almost two decades of experience, including time at AIA, Manulife, NTUC Income, OCBC Bank, and Great Eastern.
Kwan also joined Chubb in 2019 and will continue to lead Chubb’s commercial portfolio in his role. He was concurrently head of independent distribution partners. With more than 25 years in the industry, he also previously held several insurance leadership roles at China Taiping, AXA, Great American, and HL Assurance.
“Together, Lucas, Jerry, and Eric will continue to build scale and capability across Singapore,” Chubb said.
The appointments follow key appointments in APAC for the insurer over the last month: Naresh Krishnan as president director of PT Chubb Life Insurance Indonesia (Chubb Life Indonesia), Jin Lee as executive vice president and general counsel, global life and general insurance, APAC, and Mark Eggleton as senior VP and general counsel, legal strategy and government affairs, APAC.
