Coface has appointed Vy Le as country manager for Vietnam, according to a LinkedIn post by the credit insurer on Wednesday.
Le joins from HSBC, where she has worked for over eight years, most recently as country head of sales for global trade and receivable finance in Vietnam. Prior to this, she also worked at the bank’s Thailand operations in numerous senior roles.
She brings over 20 years of experience across corporate banking, trade finance, working capital solutions and risk management, with a focus on Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Earlier in her career, Le worked at ANZ Bank and Standard Chartered.
Le’s appointment continues a series of leadership changes across Coface’s Asia Pacific business. The company recently appointed James Yau as head of commercial, Southeast Asia and head of mid-market, Asia Pacific, Agnes Chan as appointed regional head of partnerships, and Darren Chan as promoted to country manager for Malaysia and head of the Philippines.
