SCOR Business Solutions, the corporate risk insurance arm of global reinsurer SCOR, has made a series of appointments and internal moves across its energy business globally and in Asia-Pacific.
In a LinkedIn post on Monday, the insurer announced the appointment of Pierre-Louis Migairou as global line head, energy, and Steven Sim as regional line manager, energy, APAC.
Migairou joined SCOR as an underwriter in 2012 and has held roles across the energy sector internationally. Most recently, he led SCOR’s energy business in Asia-Pacific from Singapore. Before joining SCOR, Migairou held engineering roles at Davey Bickford and Anglo American.
Sim brings more than 20 years of experience in onshore energy and has been a senior energy underwriter at SCOR for the past four years. Before joining the global reinsurer, Sim held underwriting roles at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Zurich Insurance. He also previously worked as a contact engineer at ExxonMobil.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Dorgnach, an onshore energy underwriter currently based in London, will relocate to Singapore to support SCOR’s energy underwriting capabilities in Asia-Pacific, the company said.
Dorgnach has been with SCOR for more than five years, holding underwriting and analyst roles in London. Earlier in his career, he worked in France in various roles at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Swiss Life France.
Michel Krenzer has also been named as energy transition lead, moving from his previous role as global head of energy.
Krenzer has more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector at SCOR, having joined the company in 2001. He rose through the ranks to become global segment leader for onshore energy, a position he held until 2023, before taking the helm as global head of energy at SCOR Business Solutions.
