HDI Global has appointed Jasmine Su as senior underwriting service technician for its International Programmes business in Singapore, alongside Augustine Chee and Chan See Kin as political and credit risk underwriters, the insurer announced on Friday.
Su joins the business following an over-three-year stint with Agency for Integrated Care, where she was a senior manager. Before that, she served as head of accounts management, ASEAN, at Allianz Trade.
Her insurance career also includes roles at Aon, Euler Hermes, QBE Insurance and Atradius. She brings extensive insurance industry experience across underwriting, account management, and regional responsibilities across Asia.
Chee joins HDI Global after nearly four years at AXA XL, most recently as an underwriter in Singapore. Before moving into insurance, Chee held credit risk and credit analyst roles at MUFG Bank Singapore.
Chan, meanwhile, joins from AXIS Capital, where he worked for over three years, most recently as a credit and portfolio monitoring analyst. Prior to AXIS Capital, he worked at Natixis as a portfolio management analyst.
The appointments come as HDI Global steps up its expansion across Asia Pacific, with the commercial and specialty insurer targeting further growth in international programmes, captive solutions and renewable energy in the second half of 2026. Its insurance service result rose 8% to EUR465m (US$539m) in the first half, from EUR430m a year earlier.
HDI Global has also made a series of senior hires across the region this year. In Singapore, it hired Diane Chong as senior underwriter for downstream energy, along with three other senior underwriters. The insurer also appointed James Zhan as senior risk engineer in Hong Kong.
