Coface has appointed Natthaphan Phanitchawong as head of commercial for Thailand, the trade credit insurer announced on Wednesday.
Phanitchawong joins Coface after spending more than 17 years at American International Group (AIG) in Thailand, where he most recently served as AVP and head of the trade credit insurance department. Before AIG, he worked as a credit underwriter at Citicorp Leasing (Thailand).
“With more than 20 years of experience in credit and insurance, including leadership roles in Trade Credit Insurance across Thailand and Asia Pacific, Natthaphan brings valuable expertise and a strong understanding of the market,” the insurer said in its announcement.
Phanitchawong’s move follows other appointments in the region that Coface announced this year. Earlier this month, the insurer promoted Jason Tan to head of commercial for Malaysia and appointed Antoine Pachoud as head of commercial for Japan. In July, the trade credit insurer appointed Ivor Miric as head of debt collection sales for Asia Pacific.
