Aon has appointed Daniel Lee as an associate in its transaction solutions team in Asia, the broker announced on Friday.

Singapore-based Lee joins Aon from the Singapore Economic Development Board, where he most recently served as senior associate. There, he evaluated investment incentives and supported multinational and private-equity-backed companies with their expansion and investment plans in Asia. Earlier in his career, he worked as a strategy and transactions senior associate at EY.

“Daniel brings a strong transaction advisory and financial due diligence background, having previously worked on a wide range of M&A transactions across Asia Pacific,” , said Markus Poh, Aon’s director of transaction solutions for Asia. “During this time, he gained extensive experience evaluating transaction risks, analysing financial and operational performance, and supporting investment decision-making for corporate and private equity clients.”

Lee is the latest in a string of hires in Aon’s transaction solutions team. On Thursday, the broker appointed Natsuko Kato as deputy director in the team, based in Japan, and earlier this month it hired Nelumi Jayasundara as senior associate in Hong Kong. In July, Ee Yen Lin returned to Aon as regional director for Asia, a month after the broker appointed Jessie Shi as associate director in Shanghai.
