Aon has appointed Ee Yen Lin as regional director, Asia, within its transaction solutions team, according to a LinkedIn post on Tuesday by Murray Wood, Specialty Products Leader, Asia-Pacific at Aon.
Relocating to Tokyo from Singapore, Lin is returning to the broker from Mosaic Insurance, where she most recently served as senior underwriter for transactional liability across Asia Pacific. She first joined Aon in 2020 and left in 2022.
Lin brings extensive experience spanning legal practice, transactional risk underwriting and M&A advisory. Prior to Mosaic, she worked for Fusion Specialty as a partner. Earlier in her career, she held associate roles with law firms Watson Farley & Williams, Clyde & Co and Dentons Rodyk.
The appointment follows a number of recent leadership hires across Aon’s Asia Pacific operations. This month alone, the broker has announced the appointments of Jess Kang as head of data and analytics for APAC, Metat Sae-Jan as head of life and health reinsurance solutions for Thailand, Taranjeet Walia as senior client director, commercial risk solutions & growth in India, and Matthew Chae as growth leader, life and health reinsurance for Korea.
