Patrick van Heerde has been named as the New Chief Partnership Distribution Officer at Prudential, effective from 4th November.
Based in Hong Kong, Van Heerde joins Prudential after over five years with HSBC, where he most recently served as Head of Insurance Partnerships for Asia Pacific.
At Prudential, he will lead the company’s bancassurance businesses in Asia and Africa, succeeding Anthony Shaw, who was with the company for over 20 years.
Van Heerde brings over 20 years of industry experience to his new role, having worked in firms across Asia and Europe, in senior roles at insurers including AIA and Muangthai Insurance in Thailand and Manulife in Thailand and Indonesia.
