Chubb promote Mason to Global EVP of Casualty

Adam Mason, a seasoned underwriter, will be responsible for Chubb's casualty lines in all countries and territories excluding North America.

Adam Mason has been appointed Executive Vice President, Casualty for Chubb’s Overseas General Insurance operations, effective June 1, 2023. In his new role, he will be responsible for the growth and profitability of Chubb’s casualty lines in 51 countries and territories outside of North America.

Mason, who has been with the company for over two decades, previously served as Deputy Head of Casualty and Chief Underwriting Officer for its international Casualty business.

“As Deputy Head and Chief Underwriting Officer for our international Casualty business, Adam has been instrumental in driving the growth and profitability of our portfolio across all regions. We’re pleased to welcome this experienced leader and manager to this important role.” said Mark Homan, the newly announced, Division President (International Property and Casualty) for Overseas General Insurance.

Mason has more than 30 years of industry experience, having previously served as an Assistant Underwriter at Independent Insurance and a Casualty Underwriter at CNA. He holds a degree in Economics and Geography from Middlesex University.
