Delta Insurance Australia has appointed Jane Mason as head of underwriting, the company announced on LinkedIn.
Based in Sydney, Mason joins after over a year at Lloyd’s coverholder Probitas 1492, where she most recently served as head of commercial business.
She brings more than 15 years of insurance experience, spanning financial lines, professional indemnity, cyber, product development and broker distribution.
“With Jane’s underwriting leadership, we will continue to work closely with our broker partners, strengthening our relationships with brokers to deliver better outcomes for the clients we serve together,” Hamish MacLean, Managing Director, who also joined the business earlier this year, said.
Her appointment follows other recent leadership changes at Delta, including the appointment of Teresa Pollard as group interim chief executive officer and Matthew Davis as head of claims for Australia.
