Howden has appointed Iris Lee as Marine Divisional Director for Asia, the company announced in a LinkedIn update on Friday.

Based in Hong Kong, Lee joined in March after a year with Oneglobal Broking, bringing 13 years’ experience in marine insurance broking, spanning multiple classes such as hull and machinery, loss of hire, protection and indemnity, cargo, and liability.

“Her extensive background and expertise will be integral to our strategy and accelerating growth in Asia,” Howden said in its announcement.

Commenting on the appointment, Bozidar Ljubisavljevic, Regional Marine Chief Client Officer for the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, said the business was delighted Lee was joining the team, adding, “She spent many years working for large multinational brokers, creating value for stakeholders in the maritime industry, and we look forward to her energy and dedication to achieving the right results for our clients.”

Prior to Oneglobal, Lee worked at Latitude Brokers between 2022 and 2024 and prior to that she spent a decade with Marsh.
