Aon will appoint Mary-Catherine Hamill as its new Head of Construction, effective 1 June 2025, the global broker announced via LinkedIn on Wednesday.
Hamill has been with Aon for nine years, most recently serving as Specialty Solutions Placement Leader. Her previous roles also include Head of Professional Indemnity and NSW State Manager at AXIS Capital, as well as Senior Underwriter at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
“With over 20 years’ experience in the construction sector, Mary-Catherine will drive Aon’s construction team, leveraging our expertise and capabilities to serve clients across the industry, supported by Aon’s global construction practice,” the business said in its announcement.
This announcement follows key appointments at Aon this year for APAC, including Sanjay Mehra as Head of Marine for India, Soeren Soltysiak as Asia CEO of Reinsurance Solutions, and Forest Jun Wang as Head of Life & Health Re for Greater China.
