Gallagher has appointed Sanjay Mehra as Head of Marine for India, the company announced in a statement on LinkedIn on Thursday.
Mehra joins Gallagher after almost seven years with Aon and brings 15 years of experience in the insurance sector, across both direct and reinsurance broking, with a focus on marine specialties. His career also includes roles at Marsh and Howden.
“We are confident that Sanjay’s expertise in marine products, business development, reinsurance, and maritime law will significantly strengthen our marine capabilities,” Gallagher said in its announcement. “His deep industry knowledge and strategic vision are invaluable assets.”
