Everest Insurance International has promoted James McPartland to Head of Property, Asia, according to an announcement by Tomi Latva-Kiskola, the company’s Asia Head of Insurance at Everest Insurance International, on LinkedIn.

McPartland joined Everest’s Melbourne office as Senior Property Underwriter in January 2024. Moving to Singapore for his new role, he will lead the Property team across Asia, focusing on strengthening client partnerships and identifying new opportunities in the region’s dynamic insurance market.

“Since joining Everest in early 2024, James has demonstrated deep regional expertise and strong broker relationships, making him ideally positioned to lead in this dynamic market,” said Latva-Kiskola in the announcement.

McPartland’s appointment is part of a series of strategic hires and promotions across Everest’s regional operations, including Catherine Soyka’s recent appointment as AVP, Reinsurance Underwriting for Oceania at Everest Re, and the establishment of a dedicated Korea Desk under Brian Jee’s leadership at Everest Insurance.
