The Hartford Singapore has tapped Chiaw Han Lean as a Senior Underwriter for Financial Lines, the firm’s Principal Officer and Underwriting Manager, Zhenghong Pan, announced on LinkedIn on Monday, 3 November.
Lean moves from AXA XL, where he served as a Senior Underwriting Specialist. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, having also worked across financial lines, underwriting and products at Marsh and AIG.
In the post, Pan said Lean’s appointment comes ahead of the anniversary of The Hartford’s office opening in Singapore. “We’re building a strong presence in the region and are excited to welcome exceptional talent to help shape what’s next.”
Following the establishment of a new service company, the business named Shuohan Dai as Senior Underwriter for Credit and Political Risk Insurance in January.
