Allianz Commercial has appointed Will Slade as Head of Portfolio Solutions for its Asia operations, effective 19 March 2025, the business said in an announcement. He takes on the new role in addition to his current position as Key Relationship Manager for Asia.

The company says that portfolio solutions are a key growth strategy for the business, and the appointment aligns with its aim to expand product reach in Asia markets, including niche products and services.

“Such arrangements present great opportunities with distribution partners across broker facilities, line slips and Managing General Agents (MGAs),” Allianz Commercial added in its announcement.

Slade, who is based in Singapore, has been with Allianz for over a decade across the UK, Germany, and now Asia. During his time, he has led new business development—including for MGA models and reinsurance capabilities— developed multi-line deals and facilities, and managed multinational client insurance programs, Allianz said.
