Allianz Commercial Australia has appointed John Whealans as Head of Broker Partnerships, the business announced in a LinkedIn update.
Whealans has been with Allianz for over five years and has been elevated from his role as National Relationship Manager.
“Since joining Allianz in 2020, John has been successful in a number of roles within the Commercial team, demonstrating deep understanding of broker partners and customers with strong people leadership capabilities,” the insurer said in its announcement.
Prior to joining Allianz, Whealans gained industry experience including at Aon between 2017 and 2020, and at recruiters Ensure Recruitment and Kennedy Reid Group.
