Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific appointed Tricia Koh as Commercial Director for its Hong Kong Hub effective November 1st, 2023.
She will be based out of Hong Kong to cover the Hub, which also includes Taiwan and South Korea and will replace Hassan Omaish, who will move to a role as Global Head of Brokers and Partnerships out of Paris.
Koh joined Allianz Group in 2007 as part of a graduate program, worked in Market Management at Allianz Commercial and joined Allianz Group as Regional Marketing Director at Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific in 2017. In that capacity, she led a team across the region to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies across multiple distribution channels.
Koh’s “international experience extends beyond business transactions. She possesses a deep understanding of the nuances of conducting business in different cultural contexts,” said Edmond Lee, the General Manager of the Hong Kong Hub. “Her ability to navigate through the complexities of varying markets positions her as a leader capable of forging strong partnerships and understanding the unique needs of our customers within Hong Kong Hub.”
Koh’s new role involves overseeing commercial operations in three markets, including developing and executing market-specific strategies, fostering key relationships with customers and partners and ensuring continued growth.
“My commitment is to lead the team in crafting solutions that address current and future demands,” said Koh of her appointment.
