Allianz Commercial has appointed Bryce Hatton as head of motor fleet underwriting for Australia, the insurer announced on Monday.

Hatton joins after over a year at Strata Community Insurance, most recently serving as state manager for Queensland. Before that, he spent over seven years at Vero, where he served as national manager for broker operations.

“Based in Brisbane, Bryce brings a wealth of experience in leadership roles over 25 years, leading sales, underwriting, claims and operations teams,” the firm said in its announcement.

Hatton’s appointment sits alongside a series of senior Allianz Commercial leadership changes across Asia and Asia Pacific. Jenny Wilhelm has been promoted to the newly created role of managing director, Singapore, with William Slade succeeding her as regional head of distribution, Asia. The insurer has also promoted Awa Ketty-Camara to regional head of multinational for Asia and appointed Davinder Panesar as alternative risk transfer business development and underwriting leader for Asia Pacific.
