Aon has named Esther Kim as Director, Treaty for the Korea and Regional team, Katy Fairweather, Head of Global Reinsurance Clients for Asia, announced via LinkedIn.
Kim brings over 15 years of experience in across underwriting, actuarial work, catastrophe modelling, and broking. She joins from Swiss Re, where she was Senior Product Manager for Public Sector Solutions and helped develop (re)insurance solutions tailored to climate risks across Asia Pacific, including for 30+ public sector clients in APAC.
“Esther is passionate about combining technical expertise with a collaborative approach to support clients and drive innovative outcomes,” Fairweather said in her announcement.
Prior to Swiss Re, Kim served at (re)insurance broker HIS Korea for 12 years in roles such as Chief Catastrophe Modeller and Treaty Broker.
