Aon India has appointed Nitish Tiwari as Deputy Vice President for India Global Solutions, with a focus on property, construction, power, and infrastructure, Senior Vice President Sunil Chakravarthy announced on LinkedIn.
Tiwari joins from The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., where he spent over eight years, most recently serving as a relationship manager for large corporate clients and brokers at the Mumbai office. His experience spans fire and engineering, health, marine, and miscellaneous insurance sectors.
“His unique perspective, shaped by working in one of India’s leading public sector insurers, will help us further strengthen our capabilities and deliver even more value to our clients,” said Chakravarthy.
In his new role, Tiwari will support Indian businesses operating abroad with insurance and risk management solutions for property, construction, and power projects.
The appointment follows Aon India’s recent expansion, including the amalgamation of its broking operations under a single regulatory licence in August and the hiring of Vikas Pareek as Head of Transaction Solutions in July.
