Aon Reinsurance Malaysia has appointed Lin Mun as Director, Client Management, Reinsurance Solutions, Malaysia, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Yann Wei Hue announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday, August 26.
Lin Mun returns to Aon after previously spending almost a decade with the company from September 2012 to August 2022.
With more than 21 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, Lin Mun brings extensive market knowledge and client insight to her new role. During her previous tenure at Aon, she helped establish the foundation of the Malaysia office and managed reinsurance operations for both treaty and facultative business while handling compliance matters.
“Lin Mun’s wealth of expertise, strong professional network and valuable industry insight will enable her to help clients make better decisions to protect their business and grow their portfolio,” said Yann Wei Hue.
Before her initial period with Aon, Lin Mun held key positions in reinsurance and underwriting at companies including Lonpac Insurance and Chubb Insurance.
In her new position, Lin Mun will focus on helping clients make informed decisions to protect their businesses and expand their portfolios, drawing on her deep understanding of market dynamics and client requirements.
Lin Mun’s appointment adds to Aon’s recent leadership moves across Asia, following the company’s promotion of Jocelyn Po to Philippine country head for reinsurance solutions and the appointment of Mandy Phan as head of production, Treaty for Asia.
