Arch Capital Group has opened two global capability centres in Trivandrum and Pune, India, the specialty (re)insurer has announced.
According to a media release, the firm also plans to establish a third office in Hyderabad, with the new offices serving as a workspace for over 350 employees.
The business stated that the centres aim to enhance its services across insurance, reinsurance, and mortgage lines and tap into India’s highly skilled talent pool in analytics, technology, and operations.
“We’re proud to establish a presence in India, a country with remarkable professional talent and a growing role in the global insurance ecosystem,” said Prashant Nema, Arch Deputy Chief Operations Officer, adding that the offices will help scale key capabilities, strengthen service delivery for business operations around the world.
