Berkley Insurance Asia has appointed Jeffery Yang as Pricing & Data Analyst, the company announced on LinkedIn on 31 October.
Before stepping into his new role, Yang had been working as a Graduate Insurance Assistant at Berkley’s Australian office, where he focused on data analysis, dashboard building, and business intelligence projects. He will start his new role on 1 November and relocate to Singapore in early December.
Prior to beginning his career in insurance, Yang completed his Bachelor of Actuarial Studies/Science degree and a Certificate of Data Science from UNSW.
Yang’s appointment adds to Berkley’s recent expansion across the Asia Pacific region, following the hiring of Jasmine Wan as Head of Casualty for Greater China and Gareth Edwards as National Head of Claims for Berkley Insurance Australia.
