Berkley Insurance Asia has named Jasmine Wan as Head of Casualty for Greater China, the insurer announced on LinkedIn on September 15.

Wan will be based in Hong Kong and brings more than 15 years of experience in underwriting, claims management, and portfolio development, having held senior roles at multinational insurers across Asia and Europe. A Chartered Insurance Professional and graduate of Simon Fraser University, she is fluent in English and Cantonese and is recognised for her broker relationships, strategic insight, and commitment to mentoring underwriters.

The appointment follows a series of hires in the region, including Jennifer Yeoh as Marine Claims Manager earlier this month and Kenneth Cheong as Deputy Head of Marine for Asia in August.

Berkley Insurance Asia said Wan’s international experience and casualty expertise will strengthen its presence and client offering in Greater China.
