Coalition has appointed Trent Nihill as General Manager for Australia, the company announced in a press release on October 9.
Nihill has worked at the specialty cyber managing general agent (MGA) for two years and had been serving as Head of Underwriting, Australia, prior to the promotion.
He brings 15 years of experience across cyber and financial lines to the role. Before he joined Coalition, he led cyber underwriting teams and managed portfolios at Emergence, Chubb, CFC, and Zurich.
Kyle Bryant, Coalition’s Head of International, noted that Nihill’s performance in “launching and growing our underwriting operation has been exceptional,” adding that he has the “strategic vision and deep market experience needed to scale Coalition to the next level in Australia.”
