Aon has appointed Fook Choon Kang as Associate Director for PathWise Aon Life Solutions in Singapore, according to a LinkedIn post by Devadeep Gupta, Head of South and Southeast Asia at Aon Life.
Kang has worked for major insurers including HSBC Life Insurance, Great Eastern Life Assurance, Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad, Amlife Insurance Berhad, and AIA Malaysia. In his most recent role at PwC Singapore, he served as senior manager, where he led actuarial model reviews and validations for audit clients.
He brings nearly 14 years of experience across a broad range of actuarial valuation functions, including embedded value (EV), new business embedded value (NBEV), IFRS 17 implementation, risk-based capital (RBC), experience studies, and modelling.
PathWise is a cloud-based software platform used by (re)insurers and pension providers to identify and manage financial risks and guarantees. It offers automated modelling and analytics across reserving, pricing, capital management, hedging, and asset-liability management functions.
