Gallagher Asia has appointed Jolice Thia as assistant manager in its corporate team in Singapore, the broker announced on Friday.
Thia joins Gallagher after more than two years at WTW, where she was most recently a lead associate within its Corporate Risk & Broking business, focusing on property and casualty.
She has more than five years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, including at SCOR in technical accounting for its South Asia life business and previously at Ed Brokers in property facultative reinsurance broking.
Her appointment adds to a series of recent hires across Gallagher’s Asia-Pacific businesses. Among the more senior recent moves, Gallagher Re named Luc Morement managing director of facultative for APAC and appointed Minesh Jani as CEO for India, while Gallagher Australia appointed Blake Gleeson to the newly created role of chief client officer.
