HDI Global Australia has appointed Adele Halfpenny as Senior Liability Underwriter, the company announced in a statement on LinkedIn on Friday.
Adelaide-based Halfpenny joins HDI after nearly three and a half years with Berkley Insurance Australia, where she had been serving as Underwriter, General Liability and Financial Lines.
Zubin Mathew, HDI’s Liability Manager for Victoria, commented on the appointment: “Adele is a seasoned underwriter and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the local market. We’re thrilled to have Adele with us and look forward to achieving great things together.”
Prior to her role at Berkley Insurance Australia, Halfpenny sharpened her industry skills at Allianz Australia, Club Marine, and Allianz Marine & Transit Underwriting Agency.
