Howden Asia has appointed Manikandan Krishnamoorthy as regional director, Risk and Engineering Advisory. The company’s chief client officer, Hamish Ravindran, announced on Monday.

Krishnamoorthy joins after over two decades with commercial insurer FM, where he most recently served as group manager, field engineering. He has extensive industry experience across property loss prevention, risk engineering, and complex project management.

Krishnamoorthy’s appointment adds to a series of recent regional moves by Howden across Asia, including Anthony Hong becoming head of surety for Asia and Cindy Yeo joining as director for M&A in Asia. At the market level, the broker has also named Alaric Lee to succeed Alfred Sham as Hong Kong CEO, Cyndi Villamor as chief client officer for corporate risk services in the Philippines and Ram KS as growth leader for sales in India.
