Howden has appointed Cyndi Villamor as its new chief client officer, corporate risk services, Philippines, the business announced in a LinkedIn post on Friday.

Villamor brings over three decades of deep industry experience gained across leading multinational organisations, with a strong background spanning both broker and insurer roles.

She previously held senior leadership roles at AIG, Marsh, Ayala Aon Risk Services, and FGU Insurance, all in the Philippines.

Her move follows Howden’s appointments of Cindy Yeo as director for mergers and acquisitions Asia earlier this week, Kyle Chan as senior director for M&A Asia last week, and a number of other talent recruitments recently from rival Aon across Singapore, Greater China and Japan in the broker’s bid to expand its M&A insurance team in Asia.
