Howden names Supaporn Chanin as director, power and energy for Thailand

She brings more than 28 years of experience in insurance and risk management across local and international brokers.

Howden has appointed Supaporn Chanin as director, power and energy in Thailand, according to a LinkedIn post by the broker.

Chanin brings more than 28 years of experience in insurance and risk management across local and international brokers, specialising in construction and operational insurance, and having supported corporate clients across the power, energy, infrastructure, port terminals and real estate sectors.

Howden said Chanin will work closely with its teams and clients in Thailand as the broker continues to strengthen its capabilities in the market.

Chanin is the latest senior hire by Howden in Asia Pacific in recent months, including the apointment Alaric Lee to Hong Kong CEO in May, Anthony Hong as head of surety for Asia, and Suresh Subramanium who is lead the broker’s employee benefits business in western India,
