Front Re promotes Raabiah Samad as its new Reinsurance Senior Manager, an expansion of her current role at the international reinsurance broker, the business announced on Wednesday (14 May).
In the role, Samad will work closely with Rizal Zakaria, who was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in January this year after serving as Chief Operations Officer. Samad is also expected to lead initiatives in international partnerships and regional business expansion, while overseeing the ongoing development of the reinsurer’s team.
Kuala Lumpur-based Samad joined Front Re in January 2024 as a Reinsurance Manager. Before that, she worked at similar insurance firms, including HLAP, Mandarin Re, and Saudi Re.
Front Re is a Malaysia-based independent reinsurance broker licensed by the Labuan Financial Services Authority. The company primarily offers insurance solutions to insurers in Asia and the Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as Latin America.
