NeedCover has named co-founder Grant Elliott head of distribution, following the Australian authorised representative network’s launch earlier this year.

Established in early 2026, NeedCover supports insurance brokers through operational, compliance and technology services, with a focus on transparency and partnerships.

In his new role, Elliott will oversee the company’s distribution strategy and broker relationships, supporting the firm’s AR network as the business grows its presence in the Australian insurance market.

He brings more than 32 years of insurance industry experience across sales, product development, strategy, technology, analytics, consulting and business operations.

“Throughout his career, Grant has been recognised for building new businesses, turning around underperforming operations, and introducing innovative products and technology that simplify insurance for both customers and advisers,” the company said in its announcement
