Sun Life Malaysia Takaful (SLMT) has appointed Noor Azam bin Mohd Yusof as Chief Executive Officer, effective 3 February 2025, the company announced in a media release. He succeeds Jeffry Azmi, who has retired from the position.
Yusof joins the company from AmMetlife Takaful where he served as CEO since 2017. He brings over 25 years of industry experience in both conventional and Takaful sectors, with expertise in sales and marketing, bancassurance and bancatakaful, agency channel management, business development, and business transformation.
Before his tenure in AmMetlife Takaful, Yusof held leadership positions at HSBC Amanah Takaful, CIMB Aviva Assurance, and Takaful Nasional.
