Oliver Wyman has appointed Jasper Yip as the head of Greater China, the business announced in a LinkedIn post on Monday.
Yip has more than a decade of experience, having joined the Marsh subsidiary in 2013 as one of its earliest hires in Hong Kong. Since then, he has helped shape the firm’s Greater China business — from advising global banks and asset managers on growth opportunities in China to strengthening connections across teams and markets in Asia-Pacific. Prior to that, he was an analyst at CLSA.
In his new role, he leads Oliver Wyman’s Greater China business, overseeing strategy, client relationships, and team development across Hong Kong, mainland China, and the broader regional corridors.
“With a strong belief in China’s global connectivity — from evolving supply chains and wealth flows to the international expansion of Chinese innovation — Jasper is focused on creating opportunities for our people and delivering meaningful work for our clients,” the company said.
Yip’s appointment comes after Steven Chen rejoined Oliver Wyman as a Singapore-based partner in its insurance and asset management practice last month.
