Sompo has announced the appointment of Wei Beng Toh as Assistant Vice President, Operational Excellence, Asia Pacific.
In this role, Toh will be responsible for supporting improvements in operational processes and promoting service excellence across the region. He will work with both regional and local operations teams to help standardise services and identify areas for process enhancement across Sompo’s APAC entities.
Toh will be based in Singapore and report to Kent Leong, Head of Regional Project and Commercial Operations, APAC.
He brings with him over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently serving as Process Improvement Manager at Manulife Singapore. He has also held various roles across leading insurers such as Great Eastern Life and AXA, focusing on business analysis, claims operations, and process transformation.
Alongside Toh, Sompo made two other regional appointments in April 2025: Kathleen Chin as Marine Underwriter and Sherlyn Kok Meili as Head of Compliance for APAC.
