Aravind Srinivas has returned to Munich Re as Deputy CEO and Chief Underwriter & Pricing Officer for its Life & Health business in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

Srinivas joins Munich Re from Manulife and will succeed Madhu Sridharan, who has been promoted to Head of Life & Health Europe and Latin America. He will remain in Singapore and report directly to Daniel Cossette, CEO of Munich Re Life & Health Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa.
Srinivas brings more than two decades of experience to the role. At Manulife, he was Chief Risk Officer, Asia and Global Head of Product and Insurance Risk Management. Prior, he worked with Munich Re for over a decade, including in various senior positions such as Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer.
Srinivas was enthusiastic about his return, saying: “I am very excited and deeply honoured to rejoin Munich Re in this key position at a pivotal time for our industry. Srinivas officially starts his role from August 14th 2023.
