HDI Global Australia has announced the appointment of Steven Holmes as Senior Property Underwriter, through a company statement on LinkedIn.
Holmes joins the industrial lines insurer from Zurich, where he served for over 12 years, most recently as Senior Property Underwriter.
In his new role, Sydney-based Holmes will be responsible for providing tailored insurance solutions for Middle Market clients, HDI said in its announcement.
“Steven’s already established broking relationships and ability to provide tailored insurance solutions for Middle Market clients makes him a great addition to our team,” commented Victor Casper, HDI’s Property Underwriting Manager for the Northern Region.
“His prior underwriting experience in the Mid-Market space further enhances our commitment to this segment,” Casper added.
Before his tenure at Zurich Insurance, Holmes gained industry experience at Suncorp and National Transport Insurance.
