Allianz Trade has elevated Wee Lee Quah to Asia Pacific’s Chief Operations Officer, effective 1 January 2026, the business announced on Linkedin on Thursday, 19 December.
Lee Quah has been with Allianz Trade since 2008, most recently serving as its Regional Head of Policy Administration based in Singapore. Her experience spans operational structure, fronting framework, and market knowledge across seven entities and 15 countries, including Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, China, India, and Australia.
In its post, Allianz Trade said, “With her solid commercial background, Wee Lee’s end-to-end understanding of the Trade Credit Insurance supply chain will be pivotal in enhancing operational effectiveness and driving strategic growth across the region.”
Commenting on the promotion, Lee Quah highlighted her journey with Allianz Trade. “As we enter into an AI-driven era, I am excited to work with our remarkable people to elevate APAC Operations and IT to new heights, powered by our new IT master platform and our shared commitment to excellence,” she said.
The announcement follows key appointments within Allianz Trade’s regional business, including Hassan Omaish as CEO for Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan; Tetsushi Kitano as Country Manager for Thailand; and Ivy Wanda Sthefvanie as Commercial Manager for Indonesia.
