Willis on Monday announced the appointment of Rupert Roberts as chief commercial officer for Asia, with Oliver Pryce to succeed him as head of corporate risk & broking (CRB) for Southeast Asia, both effective 4 January 2027.

Roberts has been with the firm for over three years and has been serving as head of CRB Southeast Asia. He brings over 13 years of industry experience, having previously worked at Aon before joining Willis.

“Rupert’s new role will be central to creating a more connected and high-performing commercial organisation across Asia, strengthening collaboration, sharpening execution and ensuring we consistently deliver differentiated value to clients,” Luke Ware, head of Asia at Willis, said.

Succeeding Roberts, Pryce returns to Willis after five years away from the firm. Welcoming Pryce back, Ware noted: “He brings a strong combination of commercial acumen, broking expertise and leadership capability, together with deep client relationships, strong market connectivity and a clear understanding of the dynamics shaping businesses across Southeast Asia.”

The appointments follow other leadership changes announced by Willis in the region, including naming Chintan Aashwini as a director in its regional M&A team, and Daniel Choi as leader of its FINEX business in Malaysia.
