Willis has appointed Ollie Moore as Head of Broking for the Pacific, effective 1 October, the firm said in a media release.
Moore first joined Willis in 2023 as Strategic Director in its Financial, Professional and Executive Risks (FINEX) business in Australia. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience across the UK and Australian markets, beginning his career at Lloyd’s of London before moving into senior broking and placement roles with an international broker.
With the new role, Moore also becomes a member of Willis’s Pacific regional leadership team.
“[Ollie’s] deep industry knowledge, strategic mindset, and strong relationships across the insurance sector make him exceptionally well-positioned to lead Willis’ broking function in the Pacific region,” said James Baum, Head of Pacific at WTW. He added that the firm expects Moore’s leadership to support growth in the regional business.
The appointment follows other recent changes within Willis’s FINEX practice. On September 1, the broker added Arjun Cherukunnathu and Ameya Kane as vice presidents in its FINEX team in India, strengthening its financial lines capabilities in South Asia.
