Lockton has appointed Alex Tilden as head of its newly created major corporate accounts practice division, in a bid to expand its Australian operations, the business announced on its official website on Monday.

Tilden joins the global broker after 20 years at Aon, where she most recently served as strategic account director, APAC. She brings more than 25 years of experience in global insurance and risk advisory experience across Australia, the United States, and Hong Kong, including stints at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Citycover, and Barclay Insurance Brokers.

In her new role based in Sydney, Tilden will lead Lockton’s national strategy for major accounts, with the broker looking to bring greater structure, focus, and specialist capability to the large corporate segment.

“The new practice reflects a clear shift in the needs of Australia’s top‑tier organisations, many of which are seeking deeper expertise, tighter alignment across regions, and more agile advisory models to support increasingly complex risk profiles,” Lockton said.

Tilden’s appointment follows Isaac Benjamin Fuente’s designation as Lockton’s head of aviation, regional transportation for Asia, effective 23 February.
