Chubb has announced the dual appointment of Chris Gough and Hayden Baker to lead its Property & Casualty operations in Asia and Australia and New Zealand, respectively.
Gough, who has over ten years of experience with Chubb, will take over as Head of P&C for Asia, while Baker, who has been with Chubb for five years, will become Head of P&C for Australia & New Zealand.
“Both Chris and Hayden bring a wealth of experience to their new roles and are highly respected by their colleagues and peers,” said Paul McNamee, Regional President for Asia Pacific at Chubb.
Gough, who most recently served as Head of P&C for Australia & New Zealand, has held increasingly senior regional and national responsibilities with Chubb in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia. He will report to McNamee.
On the other hand, Baker, who was previously the Head of Financial Lines for Australia & New Zealand, began his career with ACE and has held various underwriting and risk management positions with other insurers in Australia and London. He will report to Peter Kelaher, the Country President for Australia and New Zealand.
In announcing these appointments, McNamee emphasized Chubb’s commitment to promoting talented leaders from within the company.
