AXA XL announced on Monday (12 May) the expansion of its Claims team in Australia, appointing Tylie Petrovski as Senior Claims Specialist for Property Energy and Consumption, Ilija Bogoevski as Claims Specialist, and Rebecca Williams as Claims Specialist for Property and Construction.

Before joining AXA XL, Petrovski worked at CGU Insurance for about nine years. She was a Senior Claims Specialist for Large Complex and Specialty Claims and a Senior Claims Consultant for Commercial Insurance.  She currently serves on the National Board of Directors of the Australian Insurance Law Association.

Meanwhile, Bogoevski brings claims and stakeholder management experience across multiple firms, including Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Chubb, Coverforce, AIG, 360 Underwriting Solutions, Hollard Insurance, and Liberty Specialty Markets.

Joining Bogoevski in Sydney, Williams was most recently a Complex Claims Examiner at AIG for Property and Energy. From 2016 to 2023, she was Senior Construction Claims Officer at Suncorp Group.

Commenting on the appointment, Julie Morgan, Head of Claims in Australia, said “At AXA XL, we strive to provide exceptional claims service for our clients and brokers. With that aim, I’m extremely pleased to announce that we have recently expanded our Property, Construction and Energy Claims Team.”

In March, AXA XL made key appointments in its underwriting team in the Asia Pacific and European regions, with Olivier Croese as Head of Construction & Energy and Susana Huete Santos as Regional Product Leader for Construction & Energy.
