Ruhil Bairagi has been named HSBC Life’s Chief Operating Officer, effective 11 August, the business announced on LinkedIn on Friday, 25 July.

Bairagi has been with the company since 2019, most recently serving as its Global Head of Insurance Operations and Business Management, based in Hong Kong. He will be relocating to Singapore for his new role.

In his new role, Bairagi is tasked with leading the operations and transformation of HSBC Life Singapore’s life, health, and general insurance portfolios. He brings over two decades of industry experience, having worked in senior positions at AXA Insurance, Zurich Insurance, and MetLife.

His appointment follows another leadership move earlier in July, when HSBC Life Singapore named Luzanne Chong to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer.
