Lockton has appointed Girish Mantri as Chief Financial Officer for its India office, the insurance broker announced on LinkedIn on Monday, August 18.
Mantri joins from Howden, where he spent over 18 years in senior financial roles, most recently serving as Executive Director and CFO from July 2022 to July 2025.
As CFO, Mantri will lead the financial strategy for Lockton’s Indian market while ensuring fiscal governance and operational efficiency. His background covers financial planning, taxation, risk management, and regulatory compliance, which Lockton says will support the company’s ongoing growth and expansion in India.
With over 18 years of experience in the insurance broking industry, Mantri brings expertise in financial leadership, governance, and regulatory compliance to his new role. Lockton said his “expertise in financial planning, taxation, risk management, and regulatory compliance will play a critical role in supporting the ongoing growth and expansion” of the company.
The appointment continues Lockton’s recent expansion in India, following the hiring of Darshan Parikh as Senior Director for Corporate Solutions in August and Pankti Doshi as Vice President for Transactional Lines in July.
